RETURNS AND CANCELLATION OF GOODS (Distance Selling Regulations):

Cancellation

At Absolute Abode we understand that you may need to cancel your order once you have confirmed and paid for your items online. You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days however you must formally write to Absolute Abode Emporium Limited via email with your relevant order number, the items you purchased and their delivery address. Communication via phone call will not suffice.

Please note that bespoke furniture orders and items ordered especially cannot be returned or cancelled.

Once you have notified Absolute Abode Emporium that you wish to cancel your order, we will refund or re-credit you within 28 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for your purchases.

If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Absolute Abode Emporium Limited, Goods Returnable, 76-78 Coombe Lane, Raynes Park, London, SW20 0AX at your own cost.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

You must return the goods to the above address within 7 days of receiving your order. If you fail to return the goods to the above address before 7 days of receiving your order then you will only be offered a credit note to use online or in store. Our credit notes are valid for 12 months from point of issue.

It is your legal responsibility to ensure all items are not damaged and will not become damaged in the meantime or in transit. We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the same condition as delivered to you and are in their original packaging.

If you do not return the goods as required, Absolute Abode Emporium may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the items. There is an additional fee of £7.50, additional to any shipping fees, for the recovery of the items.

If you purchase items online that are reduced or a part of a promotion we can provide you with an exchange or credit note, however the above terms and conditions will apply to sale/ promotional items. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchange

Please note that you can exchange items in store that have been purchased online.

If you would like to exchange an item for another online item please inform us via writing indicating what you have purchased and what item/items you would like to purchase instead. Please also include your relevant order number.

We will hold this item for you for 7 days while we await the safe return of your previous item/items and a copy of your receipt, to the address stated above.

The goods must be returned at your own cost. We will post the new, exchanged, items to your initial address. The delivery cost of  the new item depends on the weight of the package, which you are responsible paying for. Please see our shipping rates.

You will be required to provide proof of purchase in the form of your printed receipt. Without proof of purchase you are not entitled to a return, exchange or store credit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

Returns policy 

If you should want to return an item to us we are pleased to offer all customers a 28 Day Returns Policy. You have 28 days from receipt of your order in which to notify us if you want to return items for a refund. Please email us on orders@absoluteabode.com 

Items must be returned unused and packaged in their original packaging or packaging of an equivalent standard. Please take reasonable care of the goods, we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the goods by you. 

You will be required to provide proof of purchase in the form of your printed receipt. Without proof of purchase you are not entitled to a return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

When returning items please allow 14 days for your refund to be processed, we will send you an email to confirm when your refund has been processed. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.

Earrings

Sold As-Is items can't be returned or exhanged.  

Damaged or faulty items 

If you notice that any of your items are damaged or faulty when you receive your delivery, please refuse the delivery and contact us to arrange re–delivery of a replacement. If you discover after delivery that any items are damaged or faulty, please report this to us as soon as possible.

 We will contact you to arrange a replacement, send replacement parts or issue a refund. If you choose to receive a refund, we will refund you in full to your original payment method, including any delivery charges you paid if your whole order is being refunded.

We ask that you do not use the damaged items and that you re–package them in their original packaging wherever possible.

Nothing within this Returns policy affects your legal rights.

UK Customer Dispatch:

For all shipping inside the UK we use UK Mail and Royal Mail. Please be aware that customers are responsible for payment of any local customs duties.

Free Shipping Promotions:

Sometimes throughout the year we will offer a free postage promotion to our customers. Please note that, when this promotion is valid, particular items may not be included in the offer. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the offer.

Items that are returned, that have been subject to a free shipping offer and are being returned for a monetary refund, as opposed to exchanged goods or a credit note, will have our delivery cost deducted from the amount refunded. Please be aware of our shipping costs above.
